The never ending rows of wind turbines (intermingled with solar farms) throughout Spain First views of Sierra Nevada We awoke to snow!! Who's idea was it that antifreeze wouldn't be needed now we were heading south?!?! Kayla all geared up to climb mountains Our first views of Granada on the climb up Cerro Huenes We were being hunted by mountain goats Our car is down there Getting close to the top and the van looks sooo little (this is zoomed in) 150m from the top and the car is just visible The other peak we didn't climb up The really big mountains in the distance. Ours was about 2000m (we started climbing from about 1200m). The largest peak is over 4000m and requires a level of expertise we didn't have.
View of the village as we are arriving. Cool cloud formations that were rolling over the peaks Escalator to the beginner area :)
